> 24 hourThis review is for the folding umbrella and not the travel umbrella. It does not open or close automatically. It closes by keeping the top/wet part on the inside. There are two good reasons that I can think of for closing like this. One is that if you hold the umbrella up (while it is closed) no water will get on the floor. So, you can carry it like this around for a bit to keep everything around you dry. The second reason is if it touches you when it is closed, it will not get you wet. Very useful when getting in a car from the rain. With a normal umbrella I would get everything around me wet as I bring in the umbrella. As for it being windproof. I’m not so sure if bending back counts as windproof. I am able to swing the open umbrella so that it bends backwards. See the pictures of it bent back. But even after it gets bent back like that, it is still wide enough to keep you dry and all it takes to go back to normal is for you to pull down on one of the stems. Not much effort to bring it back to normal. It feels more solid against the wind than other umbrellas. If not windproof, I would say the most wind resistant umbrellas I’ve ever owned. It seems to be made well. It has two layers of fabric. It opens and closes very easily. I definitely like and find it useful to have it fold like the way it does.

> 24 hourIt isnt really light weight. But I like that it isnt. The umbrella is compact and durable and doesnt take up a lot of space in my bag. And while it doesnt take up a lot of space its a decent sized umbrella! I will say though, when the wind blows it holds up! Which I was surprised at, a lot of compact umbrellas have the problem of flipping inside out when the wind blows, but this one hasnt done that! The two tone color is pretty, The black is shown outside, and the red is on the bottom.

> 24 hourWe all use umbrellas in our lives. Nobody thinks they could be any different from the same old umbrellas everyone uses. But this umbrella is actually unlike any other umbrella I have ever used! It frequently rains in Florida, and getting into your car while it is raining and having an open umbrella is never easy. With this umbrella I have been able to get into the car and close it without soaking myself since it closes invertedly which is a nice change from your standard umbrella. I also like how it is double-layered, so the wind has no chance of ruining this umbrella. It is an excellent umbrella that is well-built and sturdy. I would recommend It and might even buy a second one for the office.

> 24 hourI received this item at no cost for my honest review. I would have to say this is a very nice umbrella with one small issue. It is sturdy, nice double fabric, handle is very comfortable with the rubber coated material to hold. The push button to open is soft and quick! It comes with a slide on cover and has a cord for hanging. All very nice and substantial. My issue with this travel umbrella is after you have opened to use and then go to fold up, it takes some work to get it back small enough to place the cover back on. I found myself having to visit each triangle of fabric on the folded tynes to straighten for it get flat enough to fasten the strap with velcro closure. I have never had that issue before and thinking about why, I believe it is because of the double fabric. Because of that, it would be awkward to put away after use

> 24 hourThis is a very sturdy umbrella. It has two protective layers (I dont know how to say that, normally an umbrella only has one canopy but this one has two put together.) This makes it very sturdy and it folds in really easily, too!

> 24 hourOverall, this is a good umbrella; however, it is a little too big for me to call this a travel umbrella. For a family, the size is perfect, but not really good for if your traveling alone. It opens fine and is strong enough to hold up to heavy wind and rain which is nice. Overall, good umbrella.

> 24 hourThis is a pretty unique umbrella! I like that it opens in reverse of your typical umbrella, so that the rain water will stay away from you when closing it! What is also nice is the dual layers of material. Black on top and in my case blue on the inside... Very classy! I have seen where some people said that they had a hard time putting the umbrella back in the holder. It may be a little snug, but I havent had any difficulty at all with putting it away. It is also very easy to open and close! My wife thought it was a little bit heavy, but shes used to those little fold up umbrellas that blow apart in heavy winds! Lol. This is made much be and Im sure will last a lot longer!

> 24 hourAs far as umbrellas go this one seems OK. When open, it is about 37 inches across. I thought it would be larger than that. This wouldnt really work as a golf umbrella. When folded up it is pretty large as well, about 29 inches. It did OK in some rain but it wasnt windy so I dont know how well this would hold up in windy conditions. As you can see, the inside layer of fabric does have some holes in it. That may help air it out if water gets in between the outer layers but since there is no hole with a cover on the outer layer, I dont think it would help much in the wind. It does look pretty nice but I think in the future Ill stick to regular umbrellas. You can get a similar sized umbrella (when open) that folds up much smaller, it easier to carry and is probably just as durable as this one. Whenever I get this out in wind, Ill update this with some comments about the performance in wind.
