> 3 dayAt first glance we didn’t think they would work to hang/keep up our outdoor lights. Had a major window storm a week ago and no issues! They are somewhat protected, but I was still impressed. Rated 4 stars because a few broke during installation.

> 3 daywent digging for hooks to hang my led string lights in my pergola, saw many that were the bent metal clip kind that drilled through the body of the hook and broke on installation. these are great that they dont have the holes in the stem of the threads portion, the black part is plastic and kinda clips to the hook when closed (it has a hinge portion) so they should be a lot better. will be installing them later and update if it breaks

> 3 dayWe are using these to hang up some wind chimes and bells on our porch. The hooks and what they hold have been through wind storms, rain and now a blizzard. Still look and function like day one. They don’t get much sun, I presume this is prolonging the life of the plastic.

> 3 dayGood idea but when you retract the plastic cover the opening is quite small.

Greater than one weekJust what I wanted, a screw-into-wood eaves to run string lights. the black plastic/rubber piece unlocks and relocks to hold the string/wire in place and with a plastic tie which I also used.

> 3 dayThere is a small learning curve with these hooks. Once you screw them in to the wood, you move the black tab to hang whatever it is you want on the hook and then close the tab back up. I use these hooks to hang my lights on my back patio and they’re wonderful no amount of wind can move them. No problems at all; I have purchased two sets. I’m using the second set for some hanging plants that I have out on the same patio.
