> 3 dayI used this to add a heatsink to a M.2 drive on a cheap motherboard that had no heatsinks for the drives. The instructions were sparse! Just a picture of where everything went, and a newbie might have puzzled over it (and not remove the pads plastic sides), but I had no problem with the install. I appreciated that it came with an extra thermal pad and screws for the motherboard (just in case). It seems well made, and everything (like screw holes) lined up as they should. Does it keep the drive cooler? As I didnt measure the temp before the install, I cant tell. But it does give me at least some peace of mind that the drive is probably less likely to throttle down when used heavily.

19-11-2024I dont know how people got it to fit but the screws on the sides stick out too far for it to drop down into place. The screws are required or the heatsink will fall off. Going to have to try a different brand that doesnt use screws I guess

18-11-2024Lots of long, thin fins, and nothing fancy; thats what I like to see in my heat sinks. Others try too hard with their massive fins that dont add much benefit. This little fella gets it right.

> 3 dayVery straightforward install and comes with instructions just incase! No need to buy thermal pads either for it includes those too! Along with a third one incase you accidentally mess up. Though not all the screws were the same size so the asethic was a bit off. However they all fit fine and got the job done.

Greater than one weekUsed it for the PS5 with a Samsung 980 Pro. Fits together no problem and just fits in the M.2 slot with the lid on.

> 3 dayThis included everything you need to add a larger cooler to an NVME drive. Thermal pads, heatsink, base, mounting screws, screwdriver, even a couple of spare screws. At less than 1/2 thick, it should fit most motherboards just fine.
