A very easy upgrade to my aging home server. It was a 2 minute installation once I got to the back of the rack. It replaced a Cisco 100 and upon reboot loaded its drivers and worked seamlessly.

The 1000BASE-T SFP RJ45 Copper Transceiver worked out of the box. I havent had the opportunity to measure if the bandwidth is actually met, but I dont have many devices that require or support it. Word of caution, make sure you get the correct type of device. You may not pick the right one if youre not really sure.

This is a great value for a copper RJ45 Transceiver running at 1000BASE-T speeds. You cant go wrong with this inexpensive Copper SFP Transceiver.

Ive had a QSFPTEK Gigabit SFP RJ45 transceiver in my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter 4 since 2020. Its been problem-free, but Ive had no spare, which bothered me both for outright failure replacement and for debugging. I shut the EdgeRouter down and powered it off, swapped this one of the QSFPTEK that was in it, powered the EdgeRouter 4 back up. As soon as the EdgeRouter 4 was back up, this transceiver was immediately recognized and data started flowing at full-duplex, gigabit speed (its a bridge between two VLANs with different ISPs feeding them). It was identified by the EdgeRouter 4 with a vendor of OEM and a part ID of GLC-T-QS -- the same part ID shown on the label. There were no issues with fit, finish, materials, or workmanship. It seems to be the equal of the QSFPTEK tranceiver it replaced, which has been a fine product. Im leaving this one in place since I want to know if there are any issue before I declare that its the primary and the older one is now the spare. If anything comes up in the near term, Ill try to remember to update this review.

Its a good 1000Base-T transceiver that does exactly what it needs to. Feels well made, the latch works like it should. It arrived in a protective plastic shell. It works just as well as the 10GTek, 6COM, and Handar transceivers I have. Connects to the SFP port snugly with a good tactile click. It worked in a Dell R820 daughter card, all of my PCIe NICs, and a Mikrotik RB5009. At $14.09 this transceiver is priced pretty well. Its cheaper than a lot of other brands.

I tested this on my Dream Machine Pro and had to set the port to 1000M because of a bug in the software, but this worked fine. Good option if you need an extra RJ45 port in a pinch.

This copper transceiver has very good construction and high-quality materials are used. It works exactly as its supposed to and provides excellent speeds. Other reviewers have given detailed information as to its performance. Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you have a need for a copper transceiver, then this is a good option for you.

This is one of those items that either works or ot doesnt. This was instantly recognized on my Aruba switch and provides me with an additional port as I dont currently need an optical connection. Its exactly what it says it is.

SFP-T transceiver works as expected providing upto tested 1Gbps speeds over CAT 5e cable. This is in use on a Juniper SRX 3xx device and no losses of packets under test conditions. Fits well into SFP cage with proper locking to cage. Cable connections are also tight allowing solid connections. For systems that can query the SFP there are some diagnostics that can be reviewed. While likely being unsupported by most hardware vendors this good backup alternative.

Speeds tests with this and with a normal switchport were very close. Metal well-made lever to remove the module, standard packaging for SFPs. Works in Cisco or at least if you enable non-Cisco SFP which is typical for my applications. If this unit does not work in Cisco it may be errdisable, fix this use no err-disable detect cause gbic-invalid, and service unsupported transceiver. If disabled then shut down and re-enable that interface.
