Love the badge shipping was fast came in three business days, im pleased. Now note the picture, the large one is the badge the small is the lapel pin. I purchased the lapel pin by mistake thinking git was the badge which is easy to do so read carefully the fine print of description. This badge is metal and is light weight, it has brushed finish on raised side and polish finish on lower side. It has snap magnets on rear for easy fastening. BUT DOES NOT HAVE RANKING PIPS. IF this is what you expecting, this is not the product for you. Yes there are so. E out there BUT THEY DIFFERENCIATE DUE TO COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING MATTERS so shop wisely per the price. I bought this badge to replace the chintzy one that came with a Star Trek Discovery uniform. This badge from QMx is the real deal: solid metal with a magnetic plate backing and a beautiful two-tone finish on the front, just like the badges on the show. The only difference I can discern versus the real props is that this badge has no rank dots engraved into it. If you were very handy with a CNC milling machine, you could probably rectify that for yourself, but honestly few will notice the omission. The magnetic backing is super strong; you will not have to worry about this badge falling off of even the thickest fabrics. I am very satisfied with this product. I want to wear it all the time, even when Im not wearing my Discovery uniform.

I got The command badge for my mom since in startrek club she is the for the starship I think command department would be the best. Mine is Medical since I take care of everyone like my dad is bed redread from his health of boils and Iam his woundcare nurse and I check vitals and I recorded them for the doctor I worry about my dad health hes been dealing with theses boils since he was 16 and now 63 poor guy Iam disabled it makes me feel better when iam caring for him but there are times wish a MD.DVM all in one that why Medical Commbadge is for me.Iam like Dr.Huge Gilber.MD Chief Medical Officer of USS Discovery NCC-1031 Crossover class starship.

This thing is great. I feel cool when I wear it, it scratches a little, but not any more than I expected. However! You might need to keep some superglue on hand in case the magnets pull from their socket. Add glue and time and its good as new. Super cool on a black hoodie. Black alert! Spock has a beard!

This badge is a great design and the magnet stays on good and tight. If your your a Star Trek fan you will love this badge

So very impressed with QMx. Beautifully crafted and finished. Edges are pure and tight, bevels are clean and crisp. Metal feels weighty in your hand. Magnets are strong and will hold securely to any light and most medium fabrics. You can even see the difference between the brushed metal and clear metallic finish. Ive pictured it next to the QMx command badge from Star Trek Beyond for comparison. If youre looking for a Star Trek command badge, youd be a fool not to buy this.

Accuracy to the franchise as seem on tv

I have 30 Star Trek badges so this was an excellent addition to them. Fits in with the new series Discovery. Captain Pike wears it.

In terms of screen accuracy, this one is very close, lacking only the rank pips seen on the show; otherwise, I was very pleased by the look of the product. The balance of it does feel a little odd though since the backplate is significantly heavier than the badge itself, which is essentially hollow. My only real issue is one you may or may not run into. After a few uses, the backplate has begun to discolor, almost as if the plating is rubbing off. I should note this was with the plate in contact with bare skin. I suspect this would not be an issue if worn with a costume under-shirt. All in all, very pleased with the product.
