I am in zone 9/10 and trying to get a decent Angel Trumpet plant going. But slugs LOVE them so I end up with just stalks and no leaves. I heard about copper keeping these pests at bay so bought this and wrapped it around the base of my plant. The slugs have stayed away. :-D

My atypical application involved using the copper mesh as a heat transfer medium between two flat surfaces. The springy copper mesh made good thermal contact with, and a path between, a heat source and a heat sink.

Easy to cut. Doesnt get jammed when unwinding. Stuffs holes nicely when compressed.

So far so good. Great price point, and its actually copper. Been using it a bunch and its doing its job

It seems to stop the snails/slugs if you create a vertical wall surrounding the vegetable.

Its pretty thin but there is enough material to overlap and have multiple layers. Would work well to stuff into holes. As a barrier I would have my doubts.

If you are using for rodent control/gap filler there are other brands much more durable. This was easy to use and fold up but because it’s not high quality I had to use quite a bit folded many times to fill small holes. Also cutting it with regular scissors left little copper sheds all over. Not the best quality for my needs.
