I used the tap to freshen threads in my aluminum intake. A heater hose fitting I bought messed the threads up. Shipping was fast and the tap worked fine.

This product arrived very quickly and was well packaged. I used it for tapping holes in schedule 40 PVC and 1/4in clear acrylic sheet and it worked perfectly.

I was pleasantly surprised with this tap! I needed to tap one large hole in a piece of 1/4 thick stainless steel for a custom car part I am building. I knew the steel was hard but ordered a cheap tap, because I only needed it for one hole. I couldnt believe how easy is was to cut the stainless steel. I clamped the part in a vice, and used plenty of lubricant (WD-40). I took my time working the tap back and forth, not trying to tap it in one pass. The tap is still very sharp and looks brand new still.

No issues with ordering, delivery or packaging. This tool works as expected.

Had a shower head break off in the wall fitting. I was able to get some of it out but not all. So this tap was a bottoming type (means it is flat) and I was able to clean out all the left over threads in the wall fitting. Saved me form having to pull this apart to replace. Well worth it!

I had never used a tap before, so I wasnt sure what to expect. The tap was scary sharp, strong, and of good quality. Even though Id never done it before, using this tap I successfully cleaned the threads on an old elbow fitting for a tub spout - first try. I recommend this product.
