> 3 dayI love the size and thats why I bought it. The mic plugs in like a old land line. If the strain relief worked, thatd be fine. The rubber boot doesnt stay put and may as well not be there. No real engineering went into this very important part of the radio. It will break with much use. Other than that, I love it. That needs to be redesigned.

16-11-2024I like Radioddity and have dealt directly with them in the past. They have stood behind their stuff in the past when I had problems. I should have sent this back, but I tried to give it more of a chance as there isnt a lot of CB activity around here. When testing finally you really have to press the microphone and the modulation and sound quality arent that great per the few I tested it with. Unfortunately, the mic isnt easily replaceable and its hard to find out what would be compatible for hardwiring. Its a shame really. The little radio is a great size for either in and out use or to install in tight places. I did CB wayyyy back in the 70s and 80s. Now Im both amateur and GMRS licensed, but still wanted to keep a hand in CB now and then. Great idea, poor execution on this radio.

> 3 dayWorks as good as my big rigs. Great to place in glove box when not in use and out of sight from prying thieves. Great price so you can spend more on a really good antenna. buy FCC rules all CBs are less than 4 watts no matter how expensive so research and get the best antenna.

> 3 dayThis little radio packs a big punch. Sounds great with just the built-in speaker. Use a good antenna and you can pick up long distances. Cant wait to use it on trips! And their Customer Service is excellent. Thanks Radioddity!

> 3 dayCompact size, mounted in the drivers side cubby of my 2nd gen Tacoma. Pair it with a good antenna and coax cable and you’ll be good to go. You’re not going to get the range of a peaked and tuned radio but for riding trails and monitoring 19 for speed traps on the interstate it’s perfect
