Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

Very high quality stand, elevates the laptop to a good height and is great if you use an external monitor as the two can sit side by side. The rotating base on the bottom is a nice little feature, although in my setup I dont use it that much. The hole at the back for cable management is definitely useful. The rubber pads on the top part are nice to protect the metal from scratching, and the metal lip at the front stops your machine from slipping. Overall a great stand that matches Apple laptops very well.

I didnt care for this stand since you cant move it up or down. And swiveling isnt that important to me. I returned it for a much less expensive stand that was lower and had vents plus an air circulating cord to attach if you use your laptop a lot.

I regularly edit videos on my MacBook Pro using dual screen. Having the MBP sit low on the desk while the screen was raised was somewhat of an eyesore, and I had to keep adjusting my eye level. This seems like its not a big deal, and it really isnt, but this is a novelty item, so Im treating it as such.

After having my Macbook Pro severely damaged due to some beer spilt, I decided to buy a stand primarily to avoid such silly (and expensive!) accidents in the future. Not only this stand serves that purpose flawlessly, but it also has a beautiful and minimalist design, which blends really well with the MBP aluminum finish. I can now have my coffee, beer, etc sitting on my desk without worrying about any liquid spilt on my laptop, not to mention it looks good too.

Top Teil. Sehr praktisch. Sieht gut aus, ist stabil und ist top verarbeitet. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Dadurch ist der Mac in gleicher Höhe wie mein externer Monitor und ich verwende ihn jetzt als 2. Bildschirm. Zudem hat man Platz drunter.

This product has been extremely useful to me. I work with my Macbook Pro and extra monitors sometimes for 12 to 14 hours nonstop. Before I had this product the Macbook would heat up underneath it where it was sitting on the desk; the fans would kick on a lot when using Photoshop, browsers, localhost, iTunes and other apps. Now that the laptop sits on the mStand it stays cool and if the fans come on it is only briefly.

Not sturdy and swivel base broke within a few days
