I order this stand my macbook pro retina 15. When I purchase this stand I thought was a bit over price. Once I start using it was I realized how great it is.

These new laptop feels very unstable. This one is garbage and will be returned.

This is probably the best elevating stand for your MacBook Pro. It helps me to keep my posture upright, especially the neck, which tends to sag without it.

i needed a laptop stand to go alongside our new 24 LED monitor. its appearance is simple, minimalistic, and matches the base of the monitor to the t. its made of heavy duty aluminum and heatsinks well. the retention tab on the front has a notch for easy access to the MBPs monitor release button (n/a for newer unibody laptops). no moving parts, so ZERO noise. :D

I bought this stand right before I went away to college, being somewhat unconventional I never liked the idea of using a laptop on my lap unless I absolutely had to. I mean the things get really, hot especially if youre running intensive applications. So I decided to purchase this stand as well as a mouse, keyboard and external monitor and have a pseudo-desktop setup. It worked flawlessly. The hole in the back of the stand is perfect for running and securing cables for everything you use at a desk (DVI cables are a little hard to fit through but you can make it work). Then when I had to leave I would simply unplug everything grab the laptop and go, resting assured that the cables would stay secure and I wouldnt be fishing them out from behind my desk when I got back. This setup was so effective that I used it for four years and only retired it when I actually purchased a desktop computer. A most buy if you prefer the more traditional desktop computing experience but want the portability of a laptop.
