Raindrip R630CT Hole Punch with Plugs

This punch works well and is easy and comfortable to manipulate.

Order this one but was sent to new version. Did try it out it does work but think the longevity will not be a good as the whole thing is plastic.

I found the punch difficult to work with. A tremendous force was necessary to complete the hole. One or two wouldnt be bad, but punching 80 was beyond my ability. I wound up using a drill ( manual manipulation) for the first hole, then used the punch to widen it. My hands hurt for a day afterward.. Eri

Makes for leakier connections than using a drill bit. Good thing they include good plugs because water is literally spraying out of the connection made in the hole this thing made.

This punch is kind of dull compared to a similar punch made by Dig, but it does the job as long as you dont have to put in a lot of emitters in a day (for that Id suggest using a power driver with a suitable drill bit). However, the Dig punch doesnt come with the handy plug insert on the back of the tool, so I still prefer to use this one despite its somewhat inferior punching ability.

It makes a decent hole once it finally pokes through but it takes a lot of effort.There are a better options out there that will work better than this. I lost my original one that was nothing more than a piece of plastic with a pointy end and it worked much better this this one.

The hole punch works great, the plugs do not work. Plan on buying a whole new hose if you put holes were you dont want them.

Does the trick, I have only pinched 15 holes, so I dont know how well it keeps up when using it frequently
