Received mine today looks good and will work fine, but the picture is misleading. The threads in the picture are approx a half inch, the one I received is a quarter inch. However the description does say its only a quarter inch.

Do not go by what is pictured. The picture shows about 8 threads but there is only 4. Description is correct saying only 1/4 inch of threads which is not long enough to do much with

The threaded section of the mount appears to be at least 1/2 long in the photo included with the link. It was not. I needed at least 1/2 so I have returned the Ram Mount to the Gomotoshop vendor in Woodridge, IL. requesting a refund.
