This powder is great for use when doing something that requires fine details BUT be warned the metallic non-black colors that are mixed in with this powder are heavier than the powder so you might have to give it a good shake or mix everyonce in a while if you are remixing your unused powder so that it is evenly distributed throughout your embossing project.

This is a fun alternative to plain black. This really glitters and sparkles. One thing I would point out, this is more for “chunkier” embossing and not fine print. Shipping was fast.

I love this embossing powder and use it almost exclusively when I need black. The powder sparkles when heated and is just gorgeous, without drawing attention from the rest of the project. I always keep an extra jar on hand so I dont run out!

in the picture i thought it was just metallic black sparkle- but the Sparkle in the powder is red and blue and silver.

The color is beautiful! I was unsure if I’d like it or not b/c I needed just black. What I got was black that somehow shimmers other colors too but is still definitely black! So glad I ordered this!

The embossing powder is excellent. However, I was very unhappy upon receiving the jar; the headline size is misleading. The product description clearly states its a 1-ounce jar. Upon receipt, I noticed its the same size as the one I purchased locally, .53 ounces. The cost is $3 more than my local Hobby Lobby for the same size jar. If youre happy paying $3 more, buy this. If not, stick to Hobby Lobby or Michaels and get it cheaper.

I like this one a lot: it works well with a pretty fine detail and the multicolored fine glitter is a great touch. The glitter component is minimal enough to not result in as much shedding as other ranger tinsel embossing powders Ive used (I use a versamark or tinted embossing ink and a top-down heat tool) and it melts evenly and pretty fast, giving a relatively thin embossed coat. I do tend to stamp a little heavier with this one because getting a good, solid coating of this powder on the ink withstands the extra thumping you have to give it to get the excess super SUPER fine black dust to be removed. Really nice for halloweens cats and bats and spiders and such.

Black sparkles are more useful than I had imagined. Sort of like having a new hammer and looking for stuff to bang on, LOL!

Best embossing ink I have ever bought. This black with the rainbow sprinkle is everything! For the card making, this black sparkle stands out than the regular black. This should be on creative peoples collection, really!
