Ranger EMP20653 Inkssentials Embossing Pens, 2-Pack, Black and Clear

I will say the product is inexpensive and easy to use. However, even after following all the rules of embossing ie. tapping off excess, using a pointed tip and firmly, brushing off the excess from the item youre embossing and knowing that a single particle of loose power will melt into a mini blob once embossed, the finish was anything but clean. The finish was either barely there or sloppy. (Note the pic.) I found the tips to dry out quickly and I am returning. However, per Amazon I can only exchange for the exact item or one that is not identical. So I cannot even try a different product unless I just return and completely order a different brand. I just want a brand that works. I’m not sure who I’m more frustrated at: the product or Amazons exchange policy. I opted to hope that the item I received was defective and replace it with a new one. I’ll keep you posted.

I do like the pen, and it works for the most part, but the ink does dry fairly quickly, so you can only do small parts at a time and be ready with the embossing powder and heat gun. Otherwise, the powder wont stick appropriately. I have used this successfully, but I dont love it because of the drying problem.

Man, am I glad I bought these. Exactly what I have been looking for. They work great. I am buying a second set for my mother!!!

These pens are great! The embossing powder sticks to it wonderfully. I do scrapbooking and it works perfectly for caligraphy writing/embossing. I also used it to fill in the areas where my stamp pad missed. These pens are a must have for anyone who likes to emboss!

Great for embossing journals or notebooks with names or initials. Easy as writing, powdering, heating and done.

These embossing pens are fantastic! They are perfect for paper crafting, scrapbooking, stamping, journaling, drawing, etc.

I really have enjoyed these embossing pens so far. They have a good opacity and are pretty simple to use. They havent exploded on me like a lot of my pens, unfortunately, do, and I plan to continue using these pens in the future.

This pens works really well. The powder sticks great and it stays wet long so you can work with your design! Wish the tip was a bit more slendor, but still able to do intricate designs!! Very happy with the product!! :)

They seem to get the job done, sort of anyways but the black pen is so very dry that it only attracts the tinest bit of embossing powder, The black does not even write evenly because its so dry right out of the package. The clear one seems much better.
