Ranger EMP20653 Inkssentials Embossing Pens, 2-Pack, Black and Clear

The black one is amazing. Works perfectly. The white one is hard-to-see and seems very dry. I probably shouldve sent back, but I use the black one...so...

I will say the product is inexpensive and easy to use. However, even after following all the rules of embossing ie. tapping off excess, using a pointed tip and firmly, brushing off the excess from the item youre embossing and knowing that a single particle of loose power will melt into a mini blob once embossed, the finish was anything but clean. The finish was either barely there or sloppy. (Note the pic.) I found the tips to dry out quickly and I am returning. However, per Amazon I can only exchange for the exact item or one that is not identical. So I cannot even try a different product unless I just return and completely order a different brand. I just want a brand that works. I’m not sure who I’m more frustrated at: the product or Amazons exchange policy. I opted to hope that the item I received was defective and replace it with a new one. I’ll keep you posted.

Disappointed in how it distributs the ink. Its just ok, not great.

I do love these, but a finer tip would be better. But these pens are great for those spots that dont need a fine line. Its about the size of a Sharpie fine point, but I would like a finer line. Not a complaint against this product. It works as its supposed to.

I like how this hold and stores my markers the only thing I do not like is that are 8 spots that will not hold my big markers because of how the grid is held in place.

I am a newbie with embossing but I bought a versamark pen before I received these. The other pen was doing a terrible job at letting the powders stick. Immediately out of the package, these were great, the powder stuck and the lines were crisp.

Initially did not like it as one of the pens were broke. I ended up returning it but manufacturer was nice enough to let me keep it and gave me a new set. Loving the quality so far. Tips are nice and fine for the detailed embossing you may need these for. They stay moist for a good amount of time and not dry out right away before you can even put the embossing powder on. I used them both on tiles and paper and they worked wonderfully. Definitely would get them again. Mostly the black, not so much the white.

I got into embossing, but I just used ink pads. I actually do like using the pens for finer projects. For instance, when I stencil, the product is great for tracing or coloring in stencils instead of using ink pads. It also helped with touch ups as well. It also allows for free form so I can emboss my handwriting as well.
