This was the best value for a bucket of balls that I could find. They are well made and have held up well after numerous rounds of hitting with my 7 year old. These balls are not soft like t-balls, they are hard like regular baseballs which is what I was hoping for. The lid on the bucket is a little hard to get off and has already cracked which can be expected so Im not upset about it. Overall, Ive very happy with this purchase.

Baseballs don’t last forever so I am sure I will buy again. Great quality and the price is perfect!

After reading some of the reviews, I was super nervous about buying these but my 10 year old needed to practice his batting. Well...after three months of regularly hitting these balls into a net, theyre holding up perfectly fine. Yes they have some wear and no, theyre not the best balls in the world, but for the price, Im very pleased. Maybe some of the reviewers have older kids who hit much harder, but for my kid, theyre perfect. Ive attached a photo, this is the average wear on these balls after three months....not bad in my opinion.

Overall, a good practice ball for 8U for the price. I was able to buy it at $39.99 or $1.67 per ball. Great deal at that price. Its not real leather, so it does scuff easier and is softer than real leather baseballs and gets a little slick. I would use this for pitching practice. But its a great general ball for fielding and works well in machines. Good buy for general practice balls for younger teams.

Great for practice but lacks the real leather which makes gripping the baseball harder to throw accurately

I dont want to go over the top (hence four stars instead of five), but these baseballs arrived, and, given the negative reviews Id seen,I was nervous. I opened the container and breathed a sigh of relief. These are perfect for what I ordered them for, which is to give a young pitcher some practice balls to throw throw the hole of an old tire. They look sturdy and absolutely fine. I have not experimented with hitting them and so cant speak to their longevity at being whacked by a bat over and over, but wouldnt you buy a more expensive ball for actual game play? I dunno, but all I can tell you is, dont worry, these baseballs are just fine. If they fail in actual trials, Ill return and amend this, but my initial impression was that they match their price point (and then some) in construction and quality.

Great and cheap way to focus on skills and stop chasing down baseballs. These are fine for younger players who are just starting to develop (5-9) but probably wont stand up to what older kids can dish out. Again, these are not pro quality by any stretch but they are CHEAP, and perfectly suited for practice with younger players.

If you are coaching 8 and under and want quantity of practice balls, these are great. Drills run quicker, more bp swings, and if you lose a few, so what. Also, a big plus, is if you are practicing on a wet field, these balls allow you to pocket your good leather ones for better conditions. The synthetic holds up better than the leather over the course of a season if they get wet. But again, remember, these are practice balls. For some drills you may want to use game balls, but these fill in the rest. If you are looking for every ball in your bag to be a game ball, Id give it 1 star. If you want a quantity of balls to get you through a youth season of practices, Id it 5 stars.
