Got it for u8 and planning on using for t baller. Too hard and feels too synthetic. Our ll uses diamond dfx l5. I really liked them and I’ll probably get a dozen of those instead

These are working out great for practice with our 11U baseball player.

22 dozen for my Little League. these are without question fakes. From the centering of the logs and the very dark blue text vs the more royal blue text is a dead give away. The leather is dimpled and warped in places, The word Little League should have a space between them but they do not. The stitching is of lower quality too. I called Rawlings to tell them what I am seeing on Amazon. Their reply was we cant control what they sell. they also say AMARLLB1 1DZ. what a waste of my time. Amazon you best not hit me with a restocking fee! Now I have to carry 22 dozen baseball back to the store to get returned. I just reordered 20 dozen from Walmart at the same price. I will let you know how these balls stand up and update this review next week.

If you are coaching 8 and under and want quantity of practice balls, these are great. Drills run quicker, more bp swings, and if you lose a few, so what. Also, a big plus, is if you are practicing on a wet field, these balls allow you to pocket your good leather ones for better conditions. The synthetic holds up better than the leather over the course of a season if they get wet. But again, remember, these are practice balls. For some drills you may want to use game balls, but these fill in the rest. If you are looking for every ball in your bag to be a game ball, Id give it 1 star. If you want a quantity of balls to get you through a youth season of practices, Id it 5 stars.

I dont want to go over the top (hence four stars instead of five), but these baseballs arrived, and, given the negative reviews Id seen,I was nervous. I opened the container and breathed a sigh of relief. These are perfect for what I ordered them for, which is to give a young pitcher some practice balls to throw throw the hole of an old tire. They look sturdy and absolutely fine. I have not experimented with hitting them and so cant speak to their longevity at being whacked by a bat over and over, but wouldnt you buy a more expensive ball for actual game play? I dunno, but all I can tell you is, dont worry, these baseballs are just fine. If they fail in actual trials, Ill return and amend this, but my initial impression was that they match their price point (and then some) in construction and quality.

There is nothing to dislike about these baseballs. We left several out in wet/freezing weather and they haven’t gotten waterlogged and the stitching has held up. I plan on purchasing again this 2022 season.
