Razer Base Station V2 Headphone Stand Chroma: RGB Lighting - USB Charging – 3.5mm Port with Built-in DAC - Classic Black

I had quite a few Razer products, so I was excited when I was offered this item to test out. I already have the corsair version of this, which I have been using for a few years. I really wanted to compare the two products to see which I would prefer. Truth be told, the RGB is noticeably brighter and more brilliant than the corsair version of this item. As can be seen in the photos, in natural daylight the Razer headphone stand is brighter - but it has the same color features takes up about the same amount of space as the corsair. Personally, the RGB lighting difference would definitely not be a deal breaker for me; but it was nice in that it was easy to breakdown for storage, and has 3 USBs compared to corsair’s 2 USBs and headphone jack. I would recommend Razers version if you are a heavier user of the brand itself, but other than that one is not better than the other. Overall this is a really nice piece to have on the desk, and along with other peripherals this fits in any little corner of the desktop easily to beautifully display headphones but to also add a nice pop of color. I would recommend this headphone stand because it functions great as an easy way to bring some more USB 3.0 slots to the desktop; and also as a display piece for headphones. Great item 5/5.

Really Nice and sturdy but my razer headset has static when plugged into it. I’ve since just plugged my headset into my computers direct ports.

I bought this to use on my PS4 ... I was a little disappointed to find out that I could not plug this into a wall socket ... it only worked when I plugged it into a laptop / PC .... But then I remembered that this is a PC/PS4 headset... so I tried to plug it up to the USB port in the back of my PlayStation & I can confirm that this method works perfectly fine !

I love it! The plastic is a little cheap for the price but the LEDs are great and i love the usb ports in the front.

I purchased this item from Razer directly and I have to say I am very impressed. I purchased V2 in Quartz to match my Kraken Kitty in Quartz and cant wait to own the full Quartz set someday. The cable is nice and thick so I dont have to worry about it somehow breaking if I accidentally pull on it too hard or something. I also love that it has two usb ports so that I can plug my Kraken Kitty and other things right in without having to move my tower and look behind it. The RGB is also a great touch and goes well with my growing collection of RGB items. Im addicted for sure!

So I thought Id treat myself and buy this overpriced thing. One star because its pretty, aesthetically speaking, but its pretty useless tbh. I figured I could sync it up with my Razer mouse. But oh man, did this base station ever cause me a HEADACHE. Google search peoples issues with it crashing and getting stuck in *boot loop* -- its a thing, apparently. Nothing I tried resolved the issue -- including uninstalling/reinstalling all razer software, removing my other usb hub, etc. This drove me so nuts because this base station crashed itself and my mouse repeatedly every 5 seconds, rendering my setup useless. RAZER, FIX THIS. Returning because I seriously dont have the time to fiddle around with this for days. It should be plug and play, but instead this base station was stuck in a boot loop, KILLED my other usb drive (they were not plugged into same port, btw), caused my mouse to seriously glitch out, and honestly ruined my morning. Returning for refund and going to buy Corsairs version, because hey, at least it wont CRASH my stupid Razer mouse.
