Love the design and quality

So I thought Id treat myself and buy this overpriced thing. One star because its pretty, aesthetically speaking, but its pretty useless tbh. I figured I could sync it up with my Razer mouse. But oh man, did this base station ever cause me a HEADACHE. Google search peoples issues with it crashing and getting stuck in *boot loop* -- its a thing, apparently. Nothing I tried resolved the issue -- including uninstalling/reinstalling all razer software, removing my other usb hub, etc. This drove me so nuts because this base station crashed itself and my mouse repeatedly every 5 seconds, rendering my setup useless. RAZER, FIX THIS. Returning because I seriously dont have the time to fiddle around with this for days. It should be plug and play, but instead this base station was stuck in a boot loop, KILLED my other usb drive (they were not plugged into same port, btw), caused my mouse to seriously glitch out, and honestly ruined my morning. Returning for refund and going to buy Corsairs version, because hey, at least it wont CRASH my stupid Razer mouse.

Like most Razer products, this stand is boxed beautifully in plastic and styrofoam. That sounds like a good thing, but it always makes me feel guilty tossing it all in recycling after opening; seems like a waste.

Definitely a luxury buy. Basically a two port USB 3.1 hub with embedded DAC. Aluminum arm holds headset nicely. RGB is what you would expect, though, for that price I would expect a bit more than just a ring on the base. Overall, it is what is claims to be. Worked fine with my Razer setup.

An expensive stand that I bought as a gift for my wife.

The Razer Base Station Chroma headset stand with USB 3.0 hub, made in China, measures about 5.7” wide and 9.7” tall. There are three USB 3.0 ports on the front of the base which lights up around the perimeter.

the seals on the box were already all opened, I payed full price for a new item not used.. and they didnt even both to put it in a box, they slapped the mailing info straight on the razer box and mailed it in an open box... the product works and doesnt have any damage so im giving them 2 stars instead of 1... bad service
