I had the original and loved it. Bought this one for the increased brightness. Fell in love the smoothness of the surface. Using a Razer Mamba Elite with this is pure heaven....so smooth.

This truly is a thing of beauty. I coupled the Firefly V2 mousepad with the Razer DeathAdder V2 (and for some reason a Logitech G213 keyboard - not sure why I did that, though it’s cool too), and the colour synching is amazing, and the feel as smooth as a Bruno Mars song. It sure beats my old $5 Microsoft mouse + sheet of A4 paper!

My only guess is these are coming from a warehouse where there’s some kind of humidity damage. The The replacement came in a box that also looked untampered with but when you open it up it looks like the pad has been used for a year and a half. The edges are all worn out and the RGB Lights shining through holes in the surface almost as though they didn’t play enough of the surface on top of the pad. I don’t know if these are knock offs or what the problem is but I will be asking for a refund.

The Razer Firefly V2 is a fantastic mousepad. The hard top is great for wrist aimers like myself. The main issue I had with this product is that after only 6 months of having the product the adhesive came loose on the mousepad. I have never spilled any water on it and have only ever cleaned it with slightly damp rags. Apparently the adhesive coming undone on the ENTIRE mousepad isnt covered under the Razer Limited Warrant so I could not RMA. Not sure if I got a fluke or not but beware. I had the razer firefly v1 and loved it. Sadly disappointed in this one.

Replaced a V1 firefly with this, and the differences really surpass my expectations. The surface has a slight slippery feeling as your mouse slides across it, I really like it compared to the first gen which had more of a grit feel to it. Thinner and way brighter, and the cable off to the side makes it easier to manage, for those as nitpicky as me. Looks great with their higher end products.

This Mouse Pad is completely useless with Laser Mice, like the Naga Epic. It wont function at all. Pretty stupid since the Naga is one of their top tier and most popular Mice.

I enjoy mine a lot, only thing that sucks is that the pieces that hold the mouse charger are a little more on the fragile side. Both of mine broke off, one a few months before the other. Maybe the next design could have 2 little ring type things that close around the cord or a swirly cord holder that wraps around it so it can hold the cord and be more sturdy.

Thinner. Brighter. Better. Turn it up and illuminate your battlestation with the new, improved Razer Firefly v2—an Ultra-Thin mouse Mat designed for brilliant performance in every sense of the word. The surface of the Razer Firefly V2 is calibrated for all mouse sensors and lab tested to ensure pixel-precise tracking between your mouse and cursor, allowing you to aim and maneuver with greater accuracy.
