> 3 dayOur son loved his Micro Mini scooter. He finally wore out the brake (it snapped off) after years of use, and the rear tire looked like a stop sign from skidding; we were going to order replacement parts but it would have taken weeks due to COVID. He had been asking for a two-wheel scooter, so we researched, and purchased a Razor A3. He was really excited when it arrived and had no trouble riding it. After a little while he was picking up speed, but kept crashing when it was time to stop. Our five-year-old son used to bomb down big hills on his Micro Mini and never had a problem braking in time (hence wearing out its entire braking system), so something seemed amiss with the Razor. My 180-lb husband tested the Razors brake by pushing the scooter (without standing on it since he exceeded the weight limit) while depressing the brake; he could not get the rear wheel to lock up, and the rear wheel rotated way too easily. This was an automatic deal breaker since our son loves to go down big hills, which could have resulted in an epic accident. Test the brake before your child takes off down a hill! This could have been a one-off issue with the individual scooter, but we decided to return it and order the Maxi Deluxe since he loved his Mini.

> 3 dayI bought the scooter for my 6 year old. I prefer he continue to use the three wheeler Maxi as his primary scooter-its safer-but wanted to have him practice on this Razor for balance. Two big issues with the Razor: 1 is that there is only two settings for the handle bar and 2 that the folding was impossible and took me 3 days to figure out. The instructions do not say how to fold the Razor even though it seems it should be easy. I was upset not to be able to contact anyone at the company: they did not return my email and the customer service number on their website does not work. Im giving 2 stars for the customer service. I found a posted answer by Dana in 2018 that worked-turn the razor upside down and it folds right away.
