Bought one for cheaper before this one and never broke. Junk.

There are small bent metal contacts that are designed to just touch the contacts. I can see where this might cause problems from a QC perspective, they could use a bit more material to make it less finicky for those that have bad jigs. Overall way better then hard paper clips, for the longevity of those leads.

I tried using the paperclip method to get into RCM mode on my switch and even tried aluminum foil. This jig is a life saver. I can easily pop it in and be in RCM mode in no time. Its pretty sturdy, but I still take care of it and keep it in its case to ensure its longevity. I highly recommend this if youre into hacking your switch and dont want to fuss with other ways to do it. I think its a little overpriced, but worth it if you want a simple jig to get into RCM mode on your Nintendo Switch.

Some reviews noted that they were unable to launch RCM mode 100% of the time, however this was not an issue for me. Works as expected 100% of the time. This product is not 3D printed but rather injection molded which is great and looks significantly better than the other ones being sold. Highly recommended.

Look, I get it. Youre thinking to yourself Why would I spend $7 on this when Ive got paperclips already here? And the answer is *reliability*. I fought with a paperclip for hours and just couldnt quite get it. I was worried I was going to destroy the pins in my Switch and still couldnt get the connection. So I bit the bullet, bought this, and it worked immediately. No issues, slid it right in, and bam. Done. Worth it for reliability and repeatability.
