> 3 dayThe mouse is great. Its customizable with a desktop software from their website, the color options are limited in comparison to some other mice, but it looks good. The mouse is very functional and comes with both a wireless dongle and a cable that you can plug into the PC for a wired connection that doubles as a charging feature for the built in battery. In comparison to some of the other budget gaming mice Ive had in the past, it is on the pricey side for what it is. I got it when my Teknet mouse that I used constantly for about 13 years started to have connection issues. Same button layout as that mouse which I liked a lot, but I worry about the longevity of the mouse with the built in battery. Because the batteries arent replaceable, the life span of the batteries will more than likely be less than my previous mouse. THAT SAID, I have had no issues so far, it is buttery smooth, and I like it a lot.

> 3 dayAs someone who uses a palm-style grip, this mouse is amazingly comfortable. The overall curvature of the mouse fits my hand like a glove. The ring finger rest is an excellent feature that I wish more gaming mice incorporated. The LEDs look great. The sensor is very responsive and accurate. There are two cons that keep it from getting 5 stars, however. First, the scroll wheel feels a bit cheap so if you use it in your games you may want to look elsewhere. Second, for whatever reason the wireless USB dongle is large enough that it doesn’t sit flush inside its compartment on the underside of the mouse. This is a very unfortunate design oversight that baffles me to be quite honest. While it doesn’t affect the use of the mouse otherwise, this means you will not be able to use the mouse in wired mode while the wireless dongle is stored in its compartment. If these two flaws were corrected, this would perhaps be the perfect gaming mouse.

> 3 dayThis is my second Redragon gaming mouse. Ive used the Perdition MMO mouse for many years and was always pleased with its performance, however I found using a device with fewer buttons better for different game styles, notable FPS games. Im an older gamer whos hands arent as nimble as they were when I was young and the SNES was groundbreaking. This is a very comfortable mouse. There are places to rest your thumb and ring finger, the side buttons are very well placed in reach of your thumb, and much like my trusty Perdition, theres a small button to the top left of the LMB, nicely within reach and perfect for binding certain in-game actions, but not others. One of the side buttons works better for jumping because you can still shoot while jumping. It has a rechargeable internal battery which charges thru a USB-C port. Luckily you can use the mouse wired to your PC while charging. After some research and tweaking, I was able to make the Sniper work on my PS4, a notoriously peripheral-unfriendly console. You cannot simply plug & play unless your game has native keyboard/mouse support, and not many do. What I did was this: I have an older Tuact Venom peripheral, consisting of a mouse, wand, and hub. The Venom mouse died, so I connected the Sniper Pro wireless dongle to the hub. In the Sniper software AND the Venom software, bind the side buttons to the same keys (Space, R, E, C) IN BOTH software. Then connect the Tuact hub to the PS4 (flip the switch to PS, connect the controller and turn on) and it works. For best results, use a hardware setup specifically designed for console use. There are some cons. First, the software is tricky to get. Ignore the manual, Google redragon m801p-rgb or redragon sniper pro and make damn sure the software/drivers you install say SNIPER PRO. No other Redragon software will work. It took me 3 tries to get the correct software. You CANNOT set the LED color of the scroll wheel. It stays green no matter what you do, until your battery starts to drain. This is your battery indicator. I like a red color scheme to my peripherals and this displeases me. Second con is the storage slot for the wireless dongle renders the mouse useless. It lifts the mouse just enough so that the optical sensor doesnt register movement. Youll have to find some place to store the dongle so that it doesnt become a cat toy. Overall, a very pleasing gaming mouse for a good price from a reliable company.

> 3 dayI got this mouse as I needed an inexpensive replacement for a corsair mouse that got ruined. It works well, and I really dont have any complaints about it. It isnt quite perfect, but its good for the cost. My only major complaint: The software doesnt allow any LED programming for the LED in the mouse wheel(that I can find). It seems it is only used as a charge indicator. I would much rather be able to assign some lighting to it instead of the logo area since your hand covers the logo when in use anyway.

> 3 dayIf you prefer wireless like me I would look for a battery powered mouse. I play on a laptop and hate having a bunch of wires taking up what little space I have. So it’s a bit annoying that I have to charge the mouse often. My other minor complaint is it’s lightweight and feels a bit cheap for $48. Other than that I love this mouse and how well it matches my MSI.

> 3 dayI was suggested by other gamer friends to get Logitech, Razr and other popular brands. I decided to research and I found this mouse. I compared the specs and this mouse comes out on top for half the price! All of my friends that watch me on Twitch told me they could tell something was different because I greatly improved in my FPS games. Also, this mouse is rechargeable and has RGB, other mice double the price are not rechargeable. If you are on the fence about this, get it!

> 3 dayGood mouse. Holds a charge for a decent amount of time. About two days with the lights on and three or four on eco setting. The left mouse button squeaks a bit. Thats probably only a problem with the mouse that I received and not the mouse in general. I didnt want to send it back and do without. Thats why I only gave it four stars.

14-04-2025As stated above, this mouse is a bit confusing. What you are purchasing is M801P-RGB, not a mammoth, not a sniper, so some of the reviews do not apply. In order to take full advantage of the features you need to log on to redragonusa.com not redragon.com. You will not find the drivers on the later. In addition you will need to add software to your computer in order to use the drivers. I am not very computer savvy so I asked my wife to show me.... yes, I said wife. It was still a bit of an ordeal because the packaging states that it is a Sniper Pro. Download thise drivers and you get frustrated like I did. Once you do have the drivers you can play with the features. You can switch between the two profiles with the button on the bottom of the mouse. Something to remember, at least on my computer, once you minimize the setup menu you cannot get it back without restarting your computer. (Must be my crappy HP) The mouse is comfortable in my hand. The buttons are very responsive and easy to reach. The mouse feels very nice. I like the way you can manipulate the colors and change brightness and speed of the effects. Now the negatives, I prefer the snipers drivers because you can change to 5 different profiles. I prefer the snipers ability to better customize the buttons on the mouse; you can use it for work and play by just switching profiles. The ability to change the buttons on the M801P-RGB is severely decreased. The thing I dislike the most is the band around the box has printed Sniper Pro on it but has the nomenclature for the M801P-RGB. Is this intentional? It is certainly misleading. The booklet doesnt clear anything up either it simultaneously mention the item you purchased as a mouse in one sentence and a keyboard in the next. All in all, once I figured it all out it is a good mouse, great for certain gaming. It should add the features of the less expensive Sniper, but.... I dont work for Redragon. Lastly, I also purchased the Redragon Magic Wand Pro key board which is just a delight.... if you are in the market for a keyboard.

> 3 dayI do like the look and feel of this mouse. Pretty good overall but there is an issue. For some reason, every once in a while, the mouse either loses signal or signal is being interfered with or it is going to sleep while its be used. Still trying to figure out what is causing it.

> 3 dayMy computer box sits maybe 3 feet away from the mouse, and yet when running it wirelessly, I get waves of huge lag, making it unusable for gaming or most activities. Plugged in, no issues; wireless, a huge disappointment. Maybe on a laptop where the USB stick sits next to the mouse. If your computer box sits at more of a distance? Forget it.
