Greater than one weekThis is my first review ever. This rack is very sturdy. Has felt external magnets which are great. No flaws have been detected. Worth the price.

> 3 dayTitle speaks volumes about my experience. Anyone shopping for a frag rack has hundreds, but more likely thousands and thousands of dollars invested in a reef tank. I saw in the product description, the manufacturer states waterproof sealed/triple protected N52-max neodymium magnets. Im wary of magnets or anything metal sitting inside a saltwater tank. In ANY of the uploaded user photos do we get to see the inside magnet, just photos of the frag rack attached to the tank. I purchased the medium max model. If anyone doesnt want to read about how the manufacturer handles a single question through 5 hair-pulling messages, Ill TL;DR for you. I ask what triple protected means and Im told trade secret. Magnets in reef tanks are risky business and I just wanted some kind of insight after seeing uncoated magnets on the rack. Manufacturer wastes 5 messages saying how great they are and avoiding answering the question at all cost. Not worth the risk for me and I returned it. On with the rest of the review. To my surprise when opening the box I see the neodymium magnets inside are uncoated nickel. These are generic N52 magnets. Nothing special at all. If any water touches an uncoated N52, they will rust immediately. This has happened to ALL major trusted reef brands. Take a moment and google your magnetic wavemaker. Afterall, you have thousands and thousands invested in a reef tank. Here is the masterclass in customer support: I send a message through amazon to the seller on 11/6/20 asking, In the description it says that the magnets are triple protected. What does that mean? I explained my disappointment and that at this price, the magnets should be plastic or epoxy coated. Manufactuerer Reply 11/6: Ill paraphrase the response: We have made the product for the last 5 years. No problem with the magnets. Inside magnets are hand sealed and 100% waterproof. My message on 11/7: How are the magnets triple sealed? It says it in the product description, but doesnt say what this mean. I offer that K&J makes plastic N52 magnets for 15+ years in aquariums and other hobbies. If anyone is reading the review google K&J magnets, you can make your own frag rack that will hold whatever you want. Manufacturer Reply 11/9: The wet side magnets are double sealed, plus additional abs plastic shell. Makes it triple protected. Im not sure what you mean by uncoated magnets? You are literally the first customer saying our magnets will rust. I know there are some knock off brand making similar frag racks which their magnets rust overtime. My message on 11/9: It was long, so Ill paraphrase my points. I simply requested how are they triple sealed? Saying they are double sealed and coated in plastic at least tackled 1/3 of the seals. Id like to know what the other two are. I can see the wet side magnets are uncoated nickel. (Check out the photo) They were not coated from a manufacturer in silicone, epoxy or plastic. I cant believe I am the first to ask about a vague triple sealed claim. We have thousands invested and rust will crash a tank fast. Wet side magnets fail all the time from the best brands in the hobby. Google ecotech mo, two little fishies, hydro, tunze, I can go on with names that are far, far larger than your amazon reputation. This was word for word, but I picked out select sentances to keep it somewhat shortened. Manufacturer reply 11/9: Im sorry, but how we make our rack is trade secret. That makes our product different from other frag racks. You cant ask coca cola to send you their recipe just because you want to make sure its good for your health. Same thing here. My final reply 11/9: Wow. #1 You wrote on your own product description triple protected. #2 I asked what that means. #3 Youre claiming trade secrets. You volunteered the triple protected claim and at minimum should be able to explain exactly what it means. That about sums it up. I included a photo of the medium max rack holding up frags with no problem. It could hold up a loaded rack with only a single magnet too. I also included a photo that show how this rack will definately scratch your glass. You need to remove both magnets before moving. The design allows the flat side of the acrylic logo to rest against your tank. In my case carbonate bits were accumulating and I run a bare bottom tank. Two stars because it didnt fall off. Ask yourself why youre using RODI vs tap water. If youre on city water, your tds could be fairly low, but like most reefers, you wont assume a risk like that. Why assume a risk with a $30 rack? Ill go back to hang on the side, or sit on the bottom frag racks. Magnets here seem to be too much risk. Thanks for reading.

> 3 dayPurchased specifically because specs stated it was rated for 3/4” glass. Magnets are not strong enough for 3/4” with moderate to high flow, or a large fish swims by.
