First, they come in a plastic box but they wont fit back into the box once you put the drill bit in them. Thats ok because the boxes are brittle and brake up about the 2nd or 3rd time you open them. Second, hole size is not very accurate, about +- 1-1/2mm off. If you need imperial sizes, they are off even more. That said, they drill a very nice hole in 3/8 in. Mild steel. Very nice hole saw kit. I would recommend this set.

Drills bits shattered as they touched cold steal, but the outer cutters remain strong

Okay for the price. Although the description states the 30mm bit is 1-1/8” (1.125”) when actually 30mm is 1.181” which is too large for a trade size 3/4”

I disliked that they were metric

These hole saws are fairly tough but beware of a few issues. First the Pilot drill bits are much to hard and brittle and under the load of drilling a larger hole can break easily. The other issue is that since these saws use welded on carbide chips, they are fairly wide and therefore cut a wide kerf and means the drill needs to be pretty heavy. In metal the saws also like to grab in material so be careful. This is also when the bit usually gets broke. All in all the price is right as long as you are aware of limits.

Not sure how well the are for stainless but itll cut mild steel with ease

Only used 4 so far and 2 of them didnt make it through 6 holes each and the teeth came off

I knew these were going to be cheap, but not this cheap. They come with the worst pilot bits Ive ever seen. I snapped 3 pilot bits within the 1st few uses. After changing to better pilot bits now the carbide teeth are breaking off. This is the 1st week Ive used these bits with only being used on electrical panels which is thin steel. Buy something else
