Greater than one weekClank! The Mummys Curse is a good but not great expansion for the base game. Positives: -New Cards! -Some cool monsters and magic items. Negatives: -Cheap components/card quality. -New rules add some unwanted, extra fiddlyness to the base game. -New cards still DO NOT fix the games biggest flaw-no ability to cull/streamline your decks. -The game seems to last even longer with each new expansion. NOT good.

> 3 dayOverall the extension itself was nice in playability and adding new fun features to the original game! However, the new pieces are distinctly darker than the other pieces which makes it so you know exactly what you’ll get when you land on one of those. Also, the mummy came broken.

> 3 dayThis is a great expansion to the original game. It adds a different mechanic which makes it slightly more difficult. My whole family enjoys it.

> 3 daySo, I should start by saying that Clank is my favorite game. I love it. I have Clank base game, the mummy board, just got the sunken treasures, Clank catacombs, and just got clank adventuring party. Im a big fan of the game. That being said, the Mummy board added some fun mechanics, but they didnt come in play as much as I would have liked. This expansion adds a mummy to the mix (FUN!) along with some cards. Maybe its because I usually play this with only two people (myself and my boyfriend) but we didnt cycle through enough cards to get a lot of the mummy deck. Since you mix the mummy cards with the base deck, the odds of getting a mummy card in the dungeon row isnt huge. It happens, but not often enough in my opinion. For the most part that doesnt matter, BUT it can be vital for making the mummy move around the board (some cards, when they arrive to the dungeon row, make you roll the Mummy dice to determin which section of the board the mummy moves to). The mummy moving around the board is a huge driving mechanic for this expansion. This game incorporates curses, which you dont want. Curses happen when you take certain paths, when the mummy moves to your section of the board, or some cards will make you take a curse (instead of clank). To get rid of curses, you need to fight the mummy (like the goblin thats always available to fight) but in order to fight the mummy you need to be in the same section of the board as him. Since the mummy wasnt moving much with two player mode, but boyfriend and I added some house rules where the mummy moved at the end of every round, or whenever an artifact was picked up. We played around with it to spruce it up, and that made it more fun for us. Aside from the lack of mummy movement when following the regular rules, we love it. It changes the board for us when we want to change pace. I also LOVE Kittypatra (favorite card)
