What I needed and on time.

My only complaint is that they dont seem to last as long as I thought they would. I do rinse them out one or two times but really they probably last 1 - 2 weeks max. Maybe that is okay though because it means they are filtering the water well.

I have a red ear slider have had him fpr 15 years now. I upgraded to a 50 gal tank a few years ago and got this filter and has worked well. Water stays clean for 2-3 weeks before having to change it. These work well along with the filter. Was a good investment in the long run. I work alot so changing the tank sometimes takes 2-3 weeks before i get to it. At most last a good month or 2 before it starts stinking.
