These filters for the Dyson Animal Ball 2 are direct replacement for the originals that came with the vacuum. I could not tell any difference in quality, thickness, or manufacturing. They are not a cheap knock off.

They give off a horrible odor when vacuuming.

Im a dyson owner from the beginning. When they had their first Vac, people were like you paid what? I can buy a 120.00 vac that does the same Nono I say!! So my Vac finally died so I figured Id get a used one from on line and send my other one to get fixed. Well the filters were trashed. So Amazon got them cheap aftermarket ones. I have an Animal 2 and this filter pack works great. Brought back what I love about Dyson. The ability to suck all them dust bunnies out of their holes in my carpet. When searching make sure you type in your hepa filter number that is on the filter and check again the Pic of the list of what the filter works on. Amazon will kead you wrong if your not watching.

I have a Dyson Ball Animal 2 vacuum and bought these filters for swapping and less washing. Reading the reviews and information on these filters, I was worried they wouldnt fit my vacuum. They fit perfectly, like the original ones from Dyson. This is the first time Ive given 5 stars on all features and overall. I just have no complaints. The price is much less than Dyson and they were available immediately - Dysons website showed backorder or out of stock every time I checked and about twice the price. Ive been using this filter set for at least a month now, vacuuming weekly, and the filters perform exactly like the originals. Its nice to have a second set for a quick swap while the dirty set dries after being washed. I have to say, I really dont see the round (Ball exhaust) filter realistically being washed & reused more than a couple times. The physical shape of it makes it very difficult to wash out much of the dirt from its crevices and the dirt doesnt just rinse out. That one will probably have to be replaced more often than the other filter in this set.
