Its not a self-cleaning brush roll.

The little brushes dont last and have to be replaced every time you want to run the vacuum. The product is cheaply made and there are surely other businesses out there that provide better quality product out there. I see now that there been the same complaints about this from other customers, what a waste of money!

It’s okay. The original roller didn’t get hair wrapped ever… this one does. And it causes my shark to get an error that something is under him… just all of the hair (2 golden retrievers). I will not purchase again just because of that. The other parts are totally fine and work like OEM parts.

Thank you for emailing about the difficultys others have had. I too had trouble with those side brushes. Also I get the error #2 that there is a obstruction under the Shark and there isnt anything there. I took the big brush off and looked and there was nothing there . I was thinking hair or string or something but the brush and clips to hold it there were clean. I dont know if it is my shark or your brush.

I have used two of the side replacement brushes already and they both have broke in half at the same area.

Glad I bought this for our vacuum. Everything fit perfectly. It’s pretty much a tune up kit for your vacuum.

All parts fit with 1 exception. The beater bar cover has the sweeper bristles attached, which is really the part that I needed to replace the most, fell off in the 1st use. After searching my house for it, of course it was under my couch out of sight, Isuper glue it back on. It came of once again. It is now hot glued on and Im hoping itll last. Other than this issue, everything works well. So much for super glue or hot glue. I have tried massive amounts of glue and after using my robotic Shark vacuum today, the bristle stri p was on the floor. Very disappointed with this particular piece of the replacement set.

Filters are OK, thats why its a 3 star instead of a 2. Beater brush roller head is loose, and fills with debris, causing errors. Also cover doesnt latch firmly, popping loose while vac is running. Buying genuine shark parts (off ebay, wish me luck!) for this crucial assembly.

They say that shark replacement parts, do not fit every other shark vacuum. And well that might be true, but after much searching, and trial and error purchasing, this does fit model rv1100srus Shark robot!!!
