I loved it when it was working. After a few days it no longer charges the controllers. A replacement was issued, hopefully it works longer.

So, you get a base unit, two little magnetic inserts for your controller, and some sticky pads for mounting (which is a good touch as the magnets are strong)

It works fine. I like that its magnetic, no need to keep connecting charging cables.

I just picked up this charging stand and have been very pleased with it. Its built sturdy and charge the controllers pretty quickly.

Plugging in the cables is a minor annoyance on the index controllers, mostly with cable management. This does away with it. The magnetic usb-c plugs are an awesome upgrade and the stand aligns the controllers appropriately.

Did not charge after a week of use. Good concept and design poor execution.

So you get your magnetic charging dock, you plug it into a USB-C charger, connect the magnetic charging bits to your Index controllers, and then place them in the dock and .. nothing. Zip. Nada. No charging. You wiggle them around and, OH, at some specific angle it kinda connects and you see them light up for a fraction of a second and then its gone again.

You will often find that the magnets prefer to stay inside of the charger instead of the controllers which defeats the purpose of less wear and tear on your charging ports, but other than that the product works great!

I was pretty hesitant at first to pick this item up since it had zero reviews, however I am very satisfied! The quality is great! When I first got my Index, I was worried about the USB C ports on the controllers. They seem stiff and fragile. As a result, I wanted to find a magnetic charging solution, but I didnt just want a cable. Unfortunately most of the stand options seem to just have a male port in the bottom which doesnt solve the problem. I found this base which had the magnetic solution I was looking for, but again I was initially scared away by no reviews. I figured I would give it a try though and could always send it back if the quality was poor. Well, it just arrived today and I am impressed. So much so, felt it necessary to give it this first review. The base has some weight to it. It is made from that rubbery feeling plastic that a lot of new Anker products are made from which feels great. Gives it a quality feel. The mag ports feel great too, fit snugly and seem good quality. You get an extra one too. Also, yes, it does NOT come with a cable or 5V supply, but this was fine for me and I planned on it (Good product description). I just plug it into my Anker charging station along with my trackers. The Anker charging station I use matches this product perfect. They seem made of same materials. So far zero issues. Very satisfied. Highly recommended. Will update my review if anything changes down the road.
