Beowulf and Red is an amazing dueling set that adds awesome new play styles like rage and carrying extra effects from reds basket. Beowulf is a simple Viking brawler so there isn’t a need to really mention him. But Red is one of the hardest characters to play and benefits from playing certain cards in a certain order which may require a bit of luck and healthy amount of strategy. This set isn’t very beginner friendly however don’t let that stop you if you love the characters! It has a great map in the huntsman’s cabin/hunting lodge.

This game is so much fun! Simple rules, action packed. A bunch of different sets that can all be played with each other.

Fun game, easy to learn, not over complicated. You can buy other unmatched games and mix and match the characters. All characters are well balanced with their abilities. We have played it quite a bit and have all the games currently published.

Been fan of Unmatched for 3 months already. Bought this one, because i liked Beowolfs gameplay. Worth every single dollar, if u ask me

Great production value, and a great addition to the game line. Unmatched is a fantastic series of games/expansions and this is just more goodness. Beautiful artwork and 2 unique characters to battle each other, or mix vs other Unmatched characters.

Beowulf & Red are equally powerful - when played against past UnMatched characters they may have an advantage. Buy this set for Beowulf alone! Fantastic design & build - Beowulf can stand against Arthur, Medusa, Dracula and does well against Bigfoot. Reds basket and play-style open the UnMatched games to a whole new dynamic of chance and planning - its easy to overlook Reds ability to dominate the game if youre not careful... 5/5 in every way! I hope Restoration Games continues to produce FANTASTIC expansions like this!!!! Note: theres only 1 map to play on - for some reason Restoration Games printed the same map twice on the top and bottom of the board... Very disappointing
