I ordered a refill supply of Retainer Brite to get me through the remainder of my invisalign treatment despite seeing the reviews that the packaging and formula had changed. I received the product two days ago and concur with all the latest reviews. The box is the same, the tablets are definitely not. The old tablets (that worked very well) had white packaging with the words Retainer Brite in purple and the website in purple. The new tablets have gray text that says Dentply Sirona. The difference: the old tablets didnt have a smell and had foaming action that seemed to really clean your retainer/appliance. Once you dropped a tablet in, the warm water you added turned the mixture a vivid blue which turned clear between 15 and 20 minutes. The new tablets have a strange chemical smell from the moment you open the tablet package. The water still turns blue, but there is zero foaming action. Essentially, it looks like water with blue food coloring. The blue color dissipates very slowly and leaves a residue on your retainer/appliance. I bought a six month supply, so I wont have to buy them again, but believe the latest reviews. Theres probably something a lot better out there now. Im going to be scrubbing my invisalign trays with soap after each tablet. *Update - after using three tablets, I decided to return the whole order. These just dont do anything other than color the water. Ive ordered the cleaning tablets by M3 Dental and will leave a comparison review once Ive used them.

This product does exactly what it says it will do. Cleans my retainers and it is so easy to use. Just drop your retainers in water and drop the blue tablet in and let them soak or about 15 mins and youre done!! Thats it. Now they are refreshed and cleaned and you are good to go!!

These tablets do a marvelous job cleaning my retainer overnight. I did not know such a product existed and then at my brothers I tried one and am hooked. My retainer no longer looks totally groddy.

Does a good job cleaning, have used the product for a few years.

I ordered these because my neighbor is a hygienist and she said that she had used this product for a while and loves it. When I took my retail to have them cleaned at my dentist appointment she said their was hardly anything on them. Thanks for a great product!

Update: Retainer Brite has updated their packaging, the new packaging looks very cheap. No only did they update the packaging, they also updating the ingredients. I tried soaking my aligners for the usual 15 minutes, the water did not turn clear like it use to but stayed a very vivid blue. I left one in a glass of water overnight and it did eventually turn clear. The updated tablets look different and definitely smell different, more chemically. They DID NOT clean as well as the old ones. I wont be getting them anymore because of these changes, sad, it use to be a great product. Boxes showed up in bad shape and were not the same as advertised. I had a box of retainer brite before that worked wonders but tried one from this new styled package and it didnt turn clear after 15 minutes like usual and the ingredients were different from my first box. Also they didnt clean my aligners as well. Thinking I was sent a knock off.

Have been using these tablets for many years. They are the best ones (in my opinion). These last a very long time as the tablets do not have to get changed out but once a week. They dissolve completely without leaving any funky clumps and crumbs. Highly recommend these.

I have a night guard that I wear whenever I sleep so I don’t crack my teeth due to grinding. I have used this daily for several years now to clean that night guard and keep it fresh and sanitized. I like that it turns the water blue when it’s working and then the water clears when it’s done. Works really well! Pros: Can see it working Cons: None

Seems to work well for Invisalign. I use a tablet each morning after i get up.
