Amazing little case. The fan is a tiny bit loud but i can deal with it. If you use the ultimate cooling kit heatsink/fan combo, ive found i needed to use the included fan to cool air to the inside of the case. All fans fit and no voltage warnings so far

Easy to assemble, and looks and works great. The extra USB ports on the front are a nice touch, and the power/reset button feature is awesome. Its a bit odd to have ethernet on the front, but besides this, the case if flawless.

Like most, I was very excited to get this case for my Raspberry Pi 3B Retropie setup. I followed the instructions for assembly, and overall, it wasnt extremely hard to setup. However, I had two points that caused some issues: 1.) Small problem: The fan. I assembled it so that the logo side is facing downward, which pulls air into the case instead of pushing hot air out. Flipping the fan over doesnt work because the screws are too long with the openings on the one side, so you either need smaller screws, or you have to put in the fan upside down (or is it right side up)? I would have chosen the airflow in the opposite direction, but I havent had any overheating issues, so I guess the direction of airflow isnt that important as long as there is air flow. 2.) Bigger Problem: When I first downloaded the script following the instructions from the website and the ones included in the box, it didnt work. You push the power button, and it turns on, but then the LED shuts off, and pressing the power button again didnt do anything. Nor did the restart button. I had to download the alternative script as pointed out in the other guys review (follow his instructions for the custom forked script). Also, neither script worked on an older version of Retropie, so I ended up reinstalling Retropie to the newest version 4.8 (buster) and then setting up the custom user script and everything works beautifully now. The power button turns it on, the LED lights up (it sometimes turns off temporarily, then turns back on when it finishes loading), the Reset button will exit the game and dump you back into the menu, and if you push the power button when its on, it will perform a shutdown, then cut power (and shut off the fan.) Exactly like I expect it to work. Now that I have it working, its a wonderful little addition! Tiny footprint, and the power button is much more convenient than plugging and unplugging the RPi.

This is amazing! It comes with almost everything you could ever want. The great part of this is that when you order it youre not only getting a fancy case for your pi, youre also getting features like power buttons, a fan, heat sinks, etc. Another part of this that I love is how accurate to the original nes it is! To the point where they used decal screws for screws that are not needed on the case. The only complaint is that the instructions could have been better, but the simplest of google searches work just fine. Great product, would recommend to anyone who has an emulation station Raspberry Pi!

This is one of the finest products I’ve ever purchased. I could not recommend this more. Even if your pi is not built as a retropie this is a magnificent case. The power button, and the reset button are fully functional. I sincerely love this pi case, good on you for whomever designed it.

This case is great so far! The material is very sturdy and looks just like a real NES. It is easy to assemble and get running. The safe shutdown scripts are as easy to install as typing 1 line of code. The provided heat sinks attach perfectly and the fan is quiet (So far. Havent ran anything that pushed the CPU too much yet).

I have bought a few of these. I use them for retropi presents I give to friends. I buy the retroflag case from geekpi because it comes with the fan and case. Its worth the two extra dollars.

I bought this case for my sons NES Pi 2 B. As the other reviews say, watch those fan screws. I didnt tighten them 100% so I had to put some paper in between the clips to keep it from rattling. YOU WILL MAKE STRESS MARKS if you tighten the 3 fan screws. Also, when attaching the fan, you will notice Undervoltage. I went through a few USB cables to find the right one, so make sure you have several options. I am powering the unit from my TVs USB port. Before the case, my #1 cable worked 100%. With the case, it might have been too much power as it kept rebooting. The original Pi #2 power supply was Undervoltage and my #3 USB cable was just right. The safe shutdown/reboot script was easy to install, just read the directions from GITHUB so you install the correct script. I think there are three types of install. If you expect zero problems, this isnt the case for you. If you like to tinker, this is perfect! I very much enjoyed this case and the safe shutdown button is perfect for my 5-year-old son.

As advertised, Ethernet on the front is a bit annoying. Included fan is quite noisy considering the size.
