> 3 dayAs electrical outlets go, this was a piece of cake to install. The connection points for the hot and neutral wires were clearly marked on the plug. Safety note: TURN OFF ELECTRIC AT THE BREAKER BOX. Aesthetically speaking, this outlet totally cleaned up a wall outlet in a visible area of my living room. No more unsightly Wi-Fi plugs needed. Connecting to Wi-Fi and Alexa was pretty easy. The process is fairly intuitive. If you have installed WeMo or Feit Electric devices (the 2 other brands I have) this setup process is fairly similar. Do not throw away the packaging and instructions as you will need the QR code to download the controller app. My sole disappointment is that the Wi-Fi controller only applies to the top outlet. The other has constant power. I was hoping to have 2 lights controlled off a single outlet.

> 3 dayThis unit suites my needs perfectly, and the timer/scheduler through the SmartLife app is great. But note ONLY THE TOP OUTLET IS CONTROLLED BY THE APP. The bottom outlet & USB port are always on.

> 3 dayIve got 4 of these outlets installed strategically around the house. Makes charging any devise convenient and easy. No more running around looking for an adapter. Just plug the cord into the wall. Charge rate isnt great but much better than most of the adapters I have.
