I ordered two of these for both of my children and we love them! They were great for our vacation but also nice for everyday use because they take up so much less space in the car. However, getting on the car and buckled is a bit more of a process than with booster seats, but well worth it!

I love this car seat vest. My 7 year old and 4 year old both have one. It took them a while to get the hang of it. After about a month my 4 year old got the hang of it. Recommended by car seats for the littles. 4 year old has to be able to sit still and not move around and mine does.

My daughter was in between sizes and I opted for the larger one, it worked great. I was hesitant bc I’m a very strict car seat safety mom but this was necessary for traveling and it was awesome. Highly recommend it f you’re needing something small and easy for travel

This is more than I’d want to pay, but it’s so worth it! I love that I don’t have to carry a car seat when I travel. I just place this in my carry-on bag and I’m good to go. I also have it in my car on a regular basis so I don’t need to install a car seat when I shuttle my kiddo’s friends. My friend loved it so much, she bought one for each of her kids! My kiddo’s on the smaller side, so I felt a bit uncomfortable the first couple of times I used it. Other than that and the price, I’d recommend it.

This has been a great product for our family. Much easier to move between vehicles than traditional child safety seat options. It takes up much less space making it possible to have an adult fit comfortably in the back seat with the two kids. We had a minor warranty issue with the unit we purchased for our daughter after almost 2 years of daily use, but it was handled politely and expediently. We are happy enough with vest and the company to purchase a second one as soon as our son was big enough.

If you prefer to travel without a car seat this is a great alternative. It is NOT quicker to install or easier to put on by any means, but it is a much smaller footprint for traveling. Our 6yr old could just barely put it on by himself when installed in our car. Not comfortable for long trips.

We live in NYC and use this vest when we are with our toddler and need to jump in a cab. It is perfect for quick trips around town, and lightweight enough to carry it in my diaper bag. Positives: Seems like a very high quality item, lightweight, easy to put on, easy to thread the seatbelt through the hooks. Negatives: Not a booster, so she cannot see out the window, and it is too bulky and uncomfortable for her to wear for long periods of time. Our daughter is at the low end of the allowed size: 31 lbs and 36 and the small fits her, but she has a tendency to slip down into the vest, especially on leather seats. Because I sit in the backseat with her, I can see when that happens and I can straighten her back up, which is much safer and more comfortable for her. For this reason I would not use it on a long trip, especially if I were not sitting in the back seat with her. At least not until she is bigger and the vest fits her better.
