> 3 dayMy 41#, 42” tall 5 yo uses this. We took it to Central America and ended up with bad luck in some rental cars - no ratchet-locking seatbelts, no LATCH tether for forward facing seats. But this thing still installed properly abiding by manufacturer’s requirements! It fits and is comfortable for my child. We used it both between two hard shell car seats and outboard with the car seats center and outboard. We do not use this vest as our full time safety restraint at home. It isn’t comfortable to sleep in on longer rides and my child can’t see out the window as well. My child could get it most of the way on and seat belted but I still helped with snugging it and double checking the belt path was correct. We can’t wait until it is approved for aircraft. Either way we will be buying another one for the next younger child when they reach the weight requirement.

> 3 dayWas great asset on our last trip. We avoided a rental car and so having this for quick short uber/lyft trips was super handy.

> 3 dayWe like the vest but disappointed in the customer service help. We have left 3 messages over several weeks with NO call back. The vest keeps sliding up from our sons thighs even with that crotch belt on. He basically has to sit motionless in order to keep it still. Every other car seat safety company calls back or replies. So it would get a higher rating but we feel out on a limb with no help.

> 3 dayShe met all the requirements for age, height and weight etc but no matter how much I tried to tighten it...it was still loose. A great product otherwise just runs larger but the slimmer child. I would definitely recommend still but may need to downsize if your child is slimmer.

> 3 dayMy husband and I were planning a trip to NYC with our two children, the little one is only 2 years old. I was super stressed out trying to figure out how we would travel by car/Uber/taxi with him w/out a car seat. Thank goodness I stumbled upon this! What a life saver! It’s so easy to use, (just watch a quick video on YouTube), and I will honestly say that I felt like my little one was very safe for all car rides. It folds up and fits beneath a stroller or in a backpack. The small has a 30 lb weight minimum. We did bring a small booster seat with us to help raise him up in the seat which helped with the seatbelt placement while using the vest, but it’s not required. We only used the booster for longer rides (example, to and from airport) That was just my personal preference and the booster was easy enough to bring with us on our trip. For short Uber/taxi rides we just strapped him in with the vest only. I would def recommend this product for anyone traveling with young children who normally use car seats. Now that we have it, we can use it for years to come!

> 3 dayThis didn’t end up working out for us although I really wanted it to. Our 3 yr old is very wiggly and would end up unthreading the seatbelt somehow. Next time we’ll use a lightweight regular car seat for travel.

Greater than one weekBought this for my twins for our trip! They were not able to do on there own so I had to do all three of my kids each time we got back into the car. More of a hassle then what I wanted

> 3 dayThis car seat is horrible! The reviews all looked wonderful but it did not work out for us at all!!! I had originally purchased this for a 3 week vacation where we would be flying across the country and doing lots of driving on the east coast. I thought it would be great to have a travel carseat for my 3 year old so I wouldnt have to lug around his huge every day seat. Luckily I tested it out before our trip. I ordered the small for my son who is 37 lbs and 41 and he was swimming in it. The metal clips that hold the seat belt into the harness came out 5 times during our 30 minute test drive. Also he kept unbuckling the actual seat belt because he had access to it (thats not a problem with this seat, but just a thought if you have a kid who might like to unbuckle on their own) The head rest was not good either, it would definitely not be safe for sleeping. On our drive home I actually sat in the back seat with him to make sure I could retuck in the seat belt when it slipped out of the metal clips. I would NOT RECOMMEND this car seat to anyone. Our experience was not good!
