The colors are very pretty, and it is small enough to fit in my purse, which is what I was hoping for. Works well; seems sturdy so far.

So happy to find this umbrella for my daughters birthday!

This medium size umbrella has a beautiful design. Which is why I was willing to spend a little bit more on it than a standard umbrella. To open it you need to use the button and also to close it. The button is slightly stiff but not bad. It also will refold and fit into its over bag very easily which is not true for all umbrellas. Have not yet used it in a heavy storm with lots of wind. I try not to use umbrellas in that weather anyways but its a good test to see how well made an umbrella is.

When I first pulled the umbrella out of the package, the first thing I noticed was that the handle was scuffed and paint was chipped off. I was disappointed but I thought well, as long as the umbrella works, I’m happy. We finally got some rainy weather and this morning I go to open it, and the button to release it was so jammed I wondered if I was pressing the right thing- not to mention the button itself was also scratched up. It’s very very hard to open. Once I actually got the umbrella open, I was very dismayed to see the frame was already broken, with metal pieces disconnected and dangling, highlighted in photo 3. This was clearly a used umbrella, or just a factory reject. Not worth keeping, I returned for a refund. Play it safe and just purchase directly from the Rifle Paper site.

This gorgeous umbrella is a sure-fire way to brighten a rainy day.
