> 3 dayI love the idea of this product. It’s simple and so convenient, not something you HAVE to use ever time, but an option. I love that it feels hefty, feels very sturdy and durable. The brand and the color looks appealing, but also how it’s a set of three (3). Being a set of three (3) I immediately fell head over heels for it because I wanted to try it out Ultimately, the downside to this is that the swivel part feels almost as if it’ll pop right out of the base. It’s showing a little too much slack, but at the same time, this shouldn’t be used when loosening a bolt. It should be used in combination after breaking the bolt loose with a breaker bar. Still, I’d recommend this product.

> 3 dayRIGOR 11601 Universal Joint Swivel Socket Adapter Set | 3PCS, 1/2, 3/8, 1/4 Drive | CR-MO Impact Grade | Aluminum Storage Rail My husband works with his hands a lot, and he loves to have the right tool to use. He says the pinless design of these is pretty impressive and results in a compact swivel socket that has a constant torque regardless of the angle youre using. The swivel motion is uniform and fluid, especially after a few minutes of use to wear-in the swivel. Theyve got a hole on opposite sides of the socket that works with either a detent ball like on a socket wrench or spring-loaded pin like on a lot of impact wrenches. They are at least as good as similar pinless designs by better known manufacturers. Highly recommend.

> 3 daySo far so good. I’ve had a few sets of swivel adapters over the years and one thing I disliked was the ones with exposed pins that can sometimes pop out. Fortunately this set here avoids that. I can be a little rough on my tools and given that, I expect these to last for quite a long time. Time will tell but so far they seem great.

> 3 dayI own a heavy duty truck repair shop. Im very careful about the tools that I purchase. There are times when the most expensive or highest quality tool isnt necessary. Swivels are not something that I like to use if they arent good quality for several reasons. Most importantly, they can break and if they break at a high speed they can hurt you or damage a customers vehicle (mainly the paint.) Anyway, i decided to try these and Im very happy with them. These are very nice swivels. They handle the torque of my impact guns without a problem. They are sturdy and they movement in them has the perfect amount of stiffness. I can stick a deep impact socket on the end and shove it back in a hole where I cant reach and I dont have to fight to line it up because its movement isnt too sloppy. I will buy more of them.

09-06-2025I bought these trying to get something that wasnt really long or really fat, they did a good job with that with these. I uploaded pictures of a comparison with Sunex, Harbor Freight, and Craftsman that i had on hand. Most of the HF stuff is old and they dont carry these designs anymore. The new stuff is bulky like most of the products sold now.

> 3 dayLet me start off by saying - this review is in no way compensated by anyone, i did not get these for free, i did not get the price reimbursed for leaving a positive review, I broke my old craftsman 1/4 universal joint and went in search of something stronger. After some research i decided to get some pinless universal joints. These are advertised as being made in Taiwan, but there is no marking on the universal joints themselves. Quality seems solid compared to most of the big name brands out there. The detent hole is drilled all the way through the socket (See pic) which is nice compared to some that have it only drilled through 1 side. The detent ball is strong and the machining is well done. No rough edges. I dont have any way to measure the angle, but it looks on par with my other universal joints (its better than it looks like in the pic) The holder is aluminum with the yellow piece being plastic. I paid $20 for the set of them and given as the gearwrench was something like $45-50 for the same thing. Tekton doesnt offer a 1/4 and some of the other brands looked very bulky or were just as expensive as a name brand. The 1/2 seems a little less smooth than the other two, but it doesnt effect performance so i really dont care. They came well packaged in a bag inside a sturdy little box. Overall im happy with them. Ill update the review if i run into any issues later on.
