Ripstop Messenger Bag, Durable Water-Resistant Messenger Work Bag, Black

Overall Im very happy with the bag. Its built to hold up for decades, as Ive come to expect from Carhartt. I would have appreciated a few more pockets, zipper for the laptop sleeve, pad on the strap, but Ill trade all of that for the peace of mind that Ill likely still be using this bag 20 years from now.

This is not Carhartt material. It’s plastic. Do not like it at all. Looks and feels like something I could buy at a discount store. (This is the first review I have ever wrote, very disappointed)

Excellent bag for work on the go. Have had enough room to successfully fit a laptop plus plenty of room for charger and have had a leather portfolio along with (3) RS Means books in the bag. Not exactly what’s pictured so wanted to add photos for others to see what your getting. Overall a really nice bag.

Perfect for a contractor. Good pocket sizes, provides the space and separation. Everything you need at home or on a job site.

I bought it as my brothers birthday present, he really loved it.

Not as thick as I thought it would be but still good

Ive had this for a week....and I hate it. It is very flimsy, the laptop area is not padded, and there is no padded shoulder strap as shown in the picture. I hardly ever write negative reviews.....but this is one that Ive been really disappointed with. I always thought that Carharrt had much better quality.

As a big fan of the Carhartt brand, I am completely disappointed in this messenger bag. There isnt a padded pocket for a laptop. The overall construction is only good as a bag to carry your lunch, a notebook, and not much else. I ordered a $10 sleeve for the laptop and it still feels slight. For my $60 ($70 w/ sleeve), Im looking for a bit more than sewn nylon.
