> 3 dayI was using this dye on a pair of faded blue jeans that were still in good shape. But didn’t quite turn out the way I would have liked. The one positive with this product, the cleanup was very easy. I would probably try a navy blue, if I ever try this again.

> 3 dayI had a pair of jeans I really liked and recently purchased. But the white COTTON pocket lining would show. So I thought Id buy this dye, but it would not hold. This product may take a faded pair of jeans a shade or two darker, but its not real clothing dye.

> 3 dayI really like this blue dye. Its lighter than navy blue and softer than Royal blue. I have dyed many things with it, including jeans, pillow covers and a shirt. My friend had been given a very expensive flannel lined corduroy shirt which was a coral pink that reminded her of her mother in law, and wouldnt wear it. I suggested that I overdye it. I used 2 oz. of denim blue and the shirt came out a beautiful colour of boysenberry. She said that its become her favourite shirt. The new colour retainer which I also use is a fantastic product to keep the dye from coming out in the wash.

> 3 dayMaybe the two jeans I dyed with 2 bottles of this dye were more worn out than those of others who purchased this dye. It didnt end up covering the worn spots. I had to redye the jeans, using one container each of the black and navy Rit 8 oz liquid dye. I also used an 8 oz. container of the Rit ColorStay fixative product, and with these different products the worn spots were covered. I did it all in my washing machine. I stop the machine in the wash cycle for an hour to let the dye and fixative and stay in longer and stir about every 15 minutes. Then I restart the wash cycle. With the two rinses in the wash cycle, I just put the jeans in the dryer. It is really great that you can make old jeans look new again.
