Rit 8OZ DK GRN BLU Dye

Maybe I am just plain stupid but I had a olive green t-shirt with a few small bleach spots. I followed the product instructions and used extra dye but the spots werent covered up??

More blue toned than expected but still pretty

Dyed an old, beloved cream colored bathrobe that was looking shabby. Washing machine method worked well, despite my apprehension, and the final color was a paler, mossy green and the satin trim and cuffs another shade of green - end result was quite pleasing and gave my once-expensive and elegant robe new life.

The label and color sample shows dark green. And well, it is a dark green. But it is waayyy more of a blue green than a neutral dark green. I bought this dye to pair a light green curtain with a dark green curtain, and the blue of this dye clashes badly with the other, more yellow-green. Probably not a huge deal to other people, but I have to redo my project.

This is the second time Ive messed this up but as a result came out with some weird green blue tie dye shirts I actually kind of like. If I would have just boiled the water and dye it would have probably been a uniform color.
