Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative. 2-Pack

This product didnt work correctly, I bought black dye and it turned out a light navy blue which I dont mind. And I was not warned that I needed a sealant for the dye when I was purchasing this dye I hope that you can fix this in the future because I dont want other people to make this mistake, and Im sure you feel the same

I dye a lot of clothes. I like cotton, silk, & linen fabrics, which are awesome to dye. It takes time & a sound method to get even color you want. And then you dont want to lose it, or worse yet, share it with your other clothes. THIS GUARANTEES THAT WONT HAPPEN. I have used this in a washer with a cycle I can pause. I also have done it on a stovetop in a very big pot. Perfect every time!

Redye faded shorts that are black.

After going through all the steps to dye my towels in my washer, I wanted to make sure that the color lasted. Using the Rit Color-Stay Dye Fixative ensures that the color will stay as bright and vibrant after the towels have been used and washed.

I hope that it helps keep the dye on my fabric longer as the furniture gets sun exposure. Too early to tell

Died my shirts

I am sorry but this was no go for me using a washing machine and was not going to boil stuff on stove. I used all 3, the color remover, the correct amount of color and this. Monumental fail on duvet covers. For the amount of money you spend doing it correctly, you might just as well as purchase a new item.

Used this product in 3 different application methods to try for more vibrant colors. Once washed the colors fade badly. does not hold the bright colors at all.

Didnt come out black even following the directions and soaking for extra time

Hubby bought white socks and thought hed order the gray ones he always wears so we dyed his white ones gray, was quick and easy. Does not bleed onto his white shirts when clothes are being washed together.. recommend highly.
