> 24 hourI always use Rit Dyes when dying fabric. Theyre inexpensive, easy to use, and come in large variety of colors. I dyed this top in the sink, and then used Rit Dye Fixative to set the color. Great results every time! :)

> 24 hourThe dye is fine. In the past Ive used black, blue, and purple colors to dye wood (I know not the intended purpose but it did work well). The Marigold and Teal that I recently purchased did not come out as I expected. Tested on white wood, clear maple, and oak and was not impressed. Im sure if youre using fabric these colors are great. My shop rags look very pretty now.
