I was looking at buying a genuine OEM hard case for my Fluke 179, but I opted to go with this one instead. I havent seen an actual OEM case so I cant compare directly, but I can attest that this case appears to be solidly constructed from quality materials, and the foam cutout is a perfect fit for my meter.
