Greater than one weekTHIS HOLDER IS THIN WHICH MAKES IT WORK PERFECTLY WITH A DOOR OR STORM DOOR. WE ARE ABLE TO CLOSE THE DOOR NORMALLY WITH NO INTERFERANCE. My door is black so it blends in perfectly.

> 3 dayI went through two different hooks of different thickness for my front door that is really tight on the seams. This one worked out great and my door is able to close with this mounted on. I would give it an additional star if it provided for an adjustable length like other hooks but Ill take the fact that this is thin enough and works for my needs.
