> 3 dayI am a welder and use these to clean my welds. I usually weld stainless but Im on a job doing all carbon TIG. Let the welds cool down some before using this because you will melt the bristles. Not much though! Just leaves a little film. Id recommend finding a harder grit because I am using the Grey ones for carbon and its not enough. It takes a while to get paint off as well. So forget about the 2 other grits that are higher grit numbers. Hopefully this is better on the stainless...
