Rocksmith Real Tone USB Audio Cable [Ubisoft], Xbox

These cables are very flimsy and poorly constructed. Despite good care and appropriate storage when not in use, I have gone through at least 4 cables over the last 4-5 years when my sons were learning guitar on Rocksmith (PS4). Rocksmith does not recognize any other cable. Customers are locked into continuously replacing these poor quality cables.

Works well. I use it often and so far I have no complaints.

Lasted about two weeks. Then started to cut in and out. Tried on 3 different guitars and swapped usb ports. Definitely the chord.

The first thing you should know is that you can use a regular guitar cable and a PC interface to play the game, DO THAT! It will save you a lot of money, and save you from the disappointment you will get with the Rocksmith / Ubisoft cable. I bought this way overpriced cable and it died within 30 minutes of play, thats embarrassing even for a video game manufacturer like Ubisoft. I mean.... As a guitarist whos been playing for decades, I can testify that I have cheaper NAME BRAND cables that have lasted me decades,... DECADES! I have Proco, GLS, DAddario, Dunlop, Hosa, Amazon Basics, and Fender cables older than most millennials that still work! There is no excuse that Rocksmith or Ubisoft can come up with to explain this away as a simple mistake or quality control error, uh-uh, Im not buying it.... At 40 bones its totally unacceptable to see people shell out more money on supplys to perform a DIY soldering job to repair a brand new out of the box guitar cable. With that being said I havent made up my mind if Im gonna attempt to repair it myself or return it, seeing that I can just play it in disconnected mode Im leaning hard to return it. No Stars.

I bought Rocksmith 2014 Remastered on the Microsoft store for Xbox One. This RealTone cable is exactly what you need to play.

I was torn between getting a 3rd party cable or one of these to play Rocksmith, and decided to just buy the official one. Personally I think it’s worth every dollar, the sound quality is great and there’s no delay. I was able to purchase my unit for $30, but I know the prices fluctuate. If you’re looking for a Rocksmith cable or even something just to plug your guitar into your computer with just shell out the extra $10-15 over the 3rd party ones. It works quick and natively without any mods.

I am so happy with the cable that I want to write a review for it. I thought it was exclusively for the game but when I plugged it in my Mac, iPad, PC, it works flawlessly without any driver. I returned a fancy audio interface because of this gem! I would say if you have a electric guitar, buy this! You can record with it, use virtual amp with it and even play the best guitar game with it!

The real tone cable came in brand new and in perfect condition. The box was a bit squished but at least the wire came in amazing condition!

This not only functions for RockSmith, but for recording guitar on your PC.
