Its a simple device, but made of good heavy steel. The hinges seem solid even after dozens of uses, and its strong enough to move decent sized logs around inside my wood stove when needed.

this guy makes me happy. the hand-clamp to log-squeeze ratio is on point thanks to the space age mechanical engineering. my dog is scared of it, though.
