Only a few days into it, but it meets the expectations of the CFI who recommended it. So far it’s very thorough, yet is presented well for us newbies who aren’t yet pilots.

My 16 year old son was taking an online flight academy and was getting no where fast. I purchased this book after reading the reviews, and he absolutely loves it. Yes, the humor is a bit much sometimes but it holds his attention and he is making substantial progress now. I HIGHLY recommend that you order the audio files to go along with the book. The audio/book combination is working wonders for my son, and his practice test scores are proof. Beyond that, he can explain back to me the concepts that he is learning.

I have wanted to fly since the age of 10. But I never really looked into how until this year. This book was recommended on a blog for pilots.

I’m currently in Rod Machado’s class along with the book. I love it. Very easy to understand. The class is quite entertaining. If you don’t like the humor, maybe you’re not cut out for aviation. Lol.

The book came in good condition. There was no rips, tears, or ink issues. It looked basically brand new. I am glad I bought my book from here with such a fair price.

I love that Rod made this book so fun. I believe you must be of sharp wit to get his humor. But this book is a giant stand-up teaching you how to fly. But I only gave it 4 stars because the humor is a double edge sword. When Im not in the mood for shinnanigans, and just wanna get to brass tax, I still have to read this book rather than skipping to the meat and potatoes to be sure I keep the context of his lecture properly. So if you have the excitement of Ben Stein, do not buy this book.

This is a great book packed with tons of knowledge on an easy to understand format. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. I feel that they could find a way to get that down just a bit to help out the customer in an already expensive industry. Over all great book and would highly recommend it.
