> 24 hourMy 16 year old son was taking an online flight academy and was getting no where fast. I purchased this book after reading the reviews, and he absolutely loves it. Yes, the humor is a bit much sometimes but it holds his attention and he is making substantial progress now. I HIGHLY recommend that you order the audio files to go along with the book. The audio/book combination is working wonders for my son, and his practice test scores are proof. Beyond that, he can explain back to me the concepts that he is learning.

> 24 hourI love that Rod made this book so fun. I believe you must be of sharp wit to get his humor. But this book is a giant stand-up teaching you how to fly. But I only gave it 4 stars because the humor is a double edge sword. When Im not in the mood for shinnanigans, and just wanna get to brass tax, I still have to read this book rather than skipping to the meat and potatoes to be sure I keep the context of his lecture properly. So if you have the excitement of Ben Stein, do not buy this book.
